New blinds installed to protect the Mansion
The Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion is celebrating the installation of 10 new blackout blinds, due to a generous grant from the Rosamund Thaxter Foundation and additional contributions from the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion Association.
The new blinds provide important protection from strong light in the main rooms of the house because they contain original, 18th century wallpaper. The Association is very grateful for the support of the Thaxter Foundation, which was key to accomplishing this priority project!
