Molly Coolidge, Templeman’s oldest child, and other family photographers from 1890 through the 1940s recorded the social and artistic life at the Mansion during the Coolidge years.
Photographer Richard Moore has digitally merged these images with contemporary images captured from the same camera locations. The results are time-lapse double exposures, with a time-lapse of a century or more.
Below are several examples of his work.
Prints and books of Richard Moore’s work are available for purchase. Please contact the Commission for more information.
