The Wentworth-Coolidge State Historic Site is a New Hampshire state park located less than 2 miles outside downtown Portsmouth. The Commission invites you to visit one of the region’s treasures, enjoy the beautiful waterfront vistas, and learn about the Mansion’s rich history

The Mansion’s gorgeous, seaside grounds are the perfect place to picnic and swim. Free to enter, the grounds are open year-round, from dawn-to-dusk daily, with plenty of free parking.

Mansion Tours

The Mansion is open from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day weekend.

Guided tours of the Mansion are available from 10am-4pm Friday-Monday.

 

Tours leave on the hour, with the last of the day at 3pm.

(10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm)

Cost:

  • $5 for non-NH residents
  • $4 for NH residents
  • $3 for out of state youths age 6-17

Free:

  • NH residents over 65
  • NH youths age 6-17
  • Children under 6
  • Active military

Little Harbor Trail

Be sure to go for a stroll on this 1.5 mile waterside path that connects the Wentworth-Coolidge Grounds, Creek Farm, and Portsmouth Conservation Land. Enjoy views of Portsmouth and the ocean from the viewpoint. Free parking & trail access are available at the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion.
